Meet Kahlia

Bachelor of Physiotherapy 

Kahlia completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2013 and immediately began her physiotherapy journey working in private practice. 

She has since gained experience in several multi-disciplinary clinics around Perth working closely with GP’s, sports doctors and surgeons. She frequently attends professional development to ensure her treatments are based on the most recent evidence based practice.

Kahlia has also worked extensively in exercise based rehabilitation using a combination of strength and conditioning and pilates based exercises to treat injuries in all of her patients from the elderly to elite athletes and allow them to return to the activities they enjoy doing.

Meet Janine

Masters of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Graduate Cert in Clinical Physiotherapy (Men’s, Women’s & Pelvic Health) 

Janine has a Masters of Physiotherapy and a Postgraduate Certificate in Men’s, Women’s and Pelvic Health through Curtin University. Janine has worked in a variety of clinical settings in both Perth and London, and has developed a strong interest in helping women through the pregnancy and post-natal period, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual function and pelvic pain. 

Before studying Physiotherapy, Janine completed a Bachelor of Science (Sport and Exercise Science) whilst simultaneously training as an elite Rhythmic Gymnast, where she represented Australia at the 2012 London Olympic Games and the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Having done Pilates throughout her gymnastics career as both an injury prevention and rehabilitation tool, Janine became particularly passionate about the benefits of this approach to exercise based rehabilitation and has subsequently done extensive training in Pilates rehabilitation. This has equipped Janine with the skills to treat and rehabilitate people of all ages and backgrounds, from the elite athlete to the elderly.

Janine is passionate about empowering her clients through education and movement re-training, to better understand and manage their injuries. She enjoys integrating her studies with her knowledge and first-hand experience as an athlete, to inspire her clients to maximise their individual potential and live happier, healthier lives.
